IV Iron Infusion Therapy

Feeling flat? Run out of energy?

Maybe you need an Intravenous (IV) Iron Infusion.

Restore Your Energy. Rebuild Your Iron Levels.

Iron deficiency is one of the most common nutritional deficiencies and can leave you feeling exhausted, weak, and unable to function at your best. If oral iron supplements haven’t worked for you—or you need faster results—IV iron infusion therapy offers a safe, effective solution.

What Is an IV Iron Infusion?

An IV iron infusion delivers iron directly into your bloodstream through a vein. This allows your body to absorb and use iron more efficiently compared to oral supplements, which can be slow, poorly absorbed, or cause digestive side effects.

Who May Benefit?

You may be a candidate for IV iron therapy if you experience:

  • Persistent fatigue or low energy
  • Diagnosed iron deficiency or iron deficiency anaemia
  • Poor tolerance to oral iron supplements
  • Gastrointestinal conditions affecting absorption
  • Heavy menstrual bleeding
  • Pregnancy-related iron deficiency (as advised by your doctor)

Benefits of IV Iron Therapy

  • Rapid improvement in iron levels
  • Increased energy and reduced fatigue
  • Better oxygen delivery throughout the body
  • Avoids common side effects of oral iron (e.g., nausea, constipation)
  • Fewer treatments needed compared to oral supplementation

What to Expect

  • Consultation: A healthcare professional will assess your symptoms, medical history, and blood test results.
  • Treatment Session: The infusion typically takes 30–45 minutes. You’ll be comfortably seated while the iron is administered through an IV drip.
  • Monitoring: You’ll be observed during and after treatment to ensure safety and comfort.

Is It Safe?

IV iron infusions are generally safe when administered by trained professionals. Side effects are uncommon but may include mild headache, dizziness, or temporary changes in taste. Serious reactions are rare, and our team is fully equipped to manage them if they occur.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

The number of infusions depends on your iron levels and individual needs. Some patients require just one session, while others may need a short course of treatments.
