It affects people of all ages. Older adults and people with certain medical conditions have an increased risk of severe disease or death from COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Covid Vaccination<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Lygon Everyday Chemist can administer all Covid vaccinations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lygoneverydaychemist.com.au\/book-now\">https:\/\/www.lygoneverydaychemist.com.au\/book-now<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Childhood Immunisation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We provide childhood immunisations based on the National Immunisation Program. For more information about specific childhood vaccinations, please refer to this schedule: National<br>Immunisation Program Schedule<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Adult Vaccination<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Vaccinations for adolescents, pregnancy, and at risks groups are available at BMCOL, either<br>private or through National Immunisation Program. For more information about specific<br>vaccinations offered though NIP, please refer to this schedule: National Immunisation Program Schedule<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Flu Vaccines for 2025:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Flu vaccines will be available from April 2025. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Government-funded flu vaccines are free for children (6 months to 4 years), adults 65+, pregnant women, those with certain medical conditions, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li> Private flu vaccines are $20 per person if you\u2019re not eligible for the government-funded vaccine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by the severe acute respiratory coronavirus 2 (SARSCoV-2) virus.
